By having a real life coach, we provide adaptability to your program. If you've had a big week and feeling particularly sore, we can regress the rest of the week or program in a deload week. Whereas the other apps wouldn't provide this, causing an increased risk of injury.
Also, you have weekly check in's either through a call or voice note. Fill out a small questionnaire to update me on your training and recovery.

You will also get strength based sessions that you can complete at home or in the gym to aid injury prevention and performance gains for your running.

You will begin by filling out a form which tells your coach what distances you cover each week, what days you can commit to running, when you want your longer runs to be and much more. This information will help your coach write up a program that is tailored to you for your goals and events.
The program will include progressive overload, de-load weeks, running programs, strength & conditioning, recovery, taper for events and everything you need, taking the guess work out of your training.

Once your program has been written, you will have an initial call or voice message from your coach to explain your program and make sure everything is suitable for you to get started. After this initial appointment, you will have weekly check ins to keep you accountable, answer and questions, make adjustments to your program and more.

Within your session descriptions, you will have coaching cues for you to try and implement into your technique. This will allow you to work on the physical and technical side of your running performance.

If you have an event coming up, your program will be tailored to this. It will include running sessions, recovery, de-load weeks, tapers and everything you need to take out any of the guess work.

You will be using TrainingPeaks which is a running specific app which connects to your watch and smart phone to give you your prescribed pacing targets and track your fitness and fatigue scores and much more.
